At Embention we have been on a clear mission for more than 18 years, enabling drones to populate our skies.
We provide our more than 700 customers in 70 countries with the development of avionics, critical components and high-performance software for their professional UAS (UAVs, drones, eVTOLs...) in accordance with aeronautical certification standards.
The projects that our engineers carry out are very varied, from urban aerial mobility, through freight transport to space rocket recovery projects.
The core of our company lies in our R&D team made up of more than 100 engineers with multiple specialities who, together with the rest of the team, form a total of more than 150 professionals with the same objective.
🌟 What would be your mission?
Your mission will be, together with the rest of the product design team, to ensure quality, innovation and precision in the mechanical design and 3D development of our products, from initial conception to manufacturing validation.
💡 Which will be your responsibilities?
Mechanical design R&D
CAD design and development of new products according to specifications
Preparation and participation in product testing
Technical assistance to other departments
Preparation and management of product operation, assembly and maintenance manuals
Assembly and verification of pre-series on production lines
🕵️♀️ What do we need?
Mechanical Engineering or Technician / Industrial Design or similar
📚 What do we value?
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor. Other applications (Catia, Solidworks, Solidedge, Unigraphics (NX), etc.) will be valued
Knowledge and experience in the design of mechanisms, metal and plastic parts, and assembly processes
Accustomed to providing technical leadership in design from start to finish
Monitoring manufacturing processes and incidents
Experience in manufacturing techniques (machining, 3D printing, etc.)
Good level of English (spoken and written)
Experience in version control management applications such as Git
Knowledge of Github.com, Smartgit, etc. is valued
Experience in the UAV sector and/or as a pilot is valued
